We are sailing in the Disney Dream 12/15-12/19 and we’re wondering if there will be a celebration for the first night of Hanukkah?

Ahoy there, Leah! Hanukkah sameach! What a wonderful time to be sailing onboard with Disney Cruise Line

Leah, my fellow Disney Cruise Line sailor Andrew did all of the legwork to answer this question, and he found all sorts of great news. The crew onboard ship will be leading Hanukkah services each night of Hanukkah, so you will get to celebrate with your family and your onboard friends for the first night. There will be a lighting of the menorah, wine, and even latkes - they are one of my holiday season weaknesses.

You'll be able to get information about the time for the services and the location once you are onboard the ship. Just consult your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, and all the details will be there for you.

The Very Merrytime Cruises are so very special, and it's a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season. Check the Navigator app for special entertainment, holiday crafting, and even holiday-themed cocktails and menu items on your rotational dining room menus.

May the candles on the menorah be your beacons of light toward the path of joy and contentment this holiday season and always.
