Ahoy, Denise!
You have picked an extra magical time to set sail on the
Disney Dream! My family experienced a
Very MerryTime Cruise a few years ago in November, and it definitely put us in the holiday spirit! Most of your special activities will be holiday themed, but a traditional Thanksgiving meal will be served in the main dining rooms on Thursday. Your daily cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator and the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App will have the details for all the festive fun, so keep them handy throughout your sailing because scheduling is always subject to change. A few highlights that my family enjoyed was Mickey's Tree Lighting Magic Ceremony (this was the perfect backdrop for our Christmas card that year) on the very first night, the Deck the Deck Tropical Holiday Party and the Til' We Meet Again-A Merry Farewell on the last night. The Merry Farewell is the perfect opportunity for those last minute photos, so don't forget your camera. Another event your princesses will love is Santa's Winter Wonderland Ball in the Grand Lobby Atrium! We also loved seeing our favorite Disney Characters in their adorable holiday attire during the meet and greet opportunities. Santa Claus will be available to hear Christmas wishes and for pictures! The life-sized Gingerbread House in the Grand Lobby Atrium may not be complete during your sailing, but it will be in the process of being constructed. The youth programming will also offer holiday themed activities and crafts, so I recommend bringing along a highlighter so your girls can mark their "must do" events in the newsletter.
It's going to be a vacation filled with unforgettable holiday memories, Denise! If you have further questions, please let us know!
