Ahoy, Maggie!
It's great to hear from you! My shoulders relaxed a little when I read your question about a visit to the Rainforest Room aboard Disney Cruise Line. I love it when I have an opportunity to visit this tranquil space on my sailings, and I know you will enjoy your time there as well.
Maggie, I'm happy to share how you'll access this space when you arrive at
Senses Spa for relaxation time! First, you'll stop by the front desk, where they'll use either your "Key to the World" card or your
DisneyBand+ to check you in for your experience. They will keep whichever one you present for check-in and trade you a bracelet. This bracelet will allow you entry into the Rainforest Room. You'll also be provided with a robe to wear over your bathing suit and some sandals. Complimentary lockers are available for anything you may need to securely store, but feel free to bring a book, headphones, or just yourself. They do have infused water for you to enjoy and stay hydrated. Once you are finished unwinding, you'll stop by the front desk to swap out your bracelet for your card or band. If you want to see the space before checking in for the first time, Senses Spa hosts Open House hours on the first afternoon. Be sure to check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for the times once you arrive at the cruise terminal.
With the length of the cruise pass, you'll be able to visit as often as you like during operating hours, twice or three times a day if you choose! The experience consists of a variety of steamy saunas, invigorating showers, and aromatherapy steam rooms. My favorite area in this space is where you'll find the heated tile loungers and two hot tubs with floor-to-ceiling windows to enjoy the beautiful ocean or island views! It's just a lovely way to spend time on vacation. Although only a limited number of passes are sold, I do try to be strategic with my time there. Port days are usually less busy, especially in the morning and early afternoon. On sea days, I like to go early or later in the day. But with that said, it can vary from sailing to sailing, so I usually ask the front desk for their recommendation.
I hope this gives you a good idea of what to expect, Maggie. Please let us know if you need any other questions answered before your Dream-y vacation!
