Welcome aboard, Jamie! You and your husband have so much magic to look forward to when you set sail on the Dream next month! I hope you've started your countdown, as there are only a few weeks left!
While the
Disney Dream does not typically offer Bridge Tours for guests, there are some fabulous tours and activities he may love! My favorite is the Art of the Theme Show Tour. This tour usually takes place a couple of times during the sailings, so check your Personal Navigator or the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App once you're onboard for the exact time. You'll both enjoy a narrated tour around the ship, while your guide explains how the ship was designed, how the themes from each area flow into each other, and points out all sorts of inside information. I've taken the tour on all of Disney's ships and go again and again because I always learn something new! I recommend doing the tour early in the sailing so you have the information to enjoy as you continue exploring the ship on your own. There is no cost for this tour, which is even better! There is also a Walking Ship Tour on day one, but it's not as detailed as the Art of the Theme Show Tour.
At times, I have seen a video Bridge Tour play on
Funnel Vision above Donald's Pool or on the stateroom television. You may pop by Guest Services to ask if that video is set to play during your sailing so your husband can virtually tour those behind the scenes areas!
Be sure to check your Personal Navigator each day to see what other fun events are offered! My husband and I love the beverage tastings and other information seminars that take place, so don't miss those!
Have fun planning, Jamie!
