    We will be sailing on Disney Dream from Port Canaveral. We will be driving to Florida. We chose the 10:30 a.m. port arrival time, but I just read that the Port Canaveral parking facility does not open until 11:00 a.m. Is there a better parking option?

    Ahoy, Susan!
    Living in Georgia my family drives to Port Canaveral more often than we fly. We find the process very easy and enjoy the convenience of having our car close by when we depart. Typically, we arrive early around 10:15 a.m. for our 10:30 a.m. port arrival time and have never had a problem getting into the parking facility at this time. My husband drops us off at the curb with the luggage and then he parks the car while we head into the cruise terminal once we've handed off the luggage to the porters. The walk from the deck is not far, so he joins us in the cruise terminal after the security check. Once the cruise is over, we love that the porters are there to assist us with our luggage all the way to the trunk of our car! It makes for a very easy sea to land transition!
