Welcome aboard, Jennifer! You must really be looking forward to setting sail with Disney Cruise Line this fall! The Disney Dream is a magnificent ship with so much to offer, I'm just sure you will have an amazing trip!
In October, the Disney Dream will be sailing three and four-night itineraries. While there is not an official Formal or Semi-Formal night on those sailings, there will be an optional dress-up night most likely on night Two for the four-night sailing and on Night Three for the three-night sailings. A suit or even shirt and tie for men will be perfect for this, and women can opt to dress formally that night if they choose. It's great to have the kids get dressed up too, as it makes for some great photo opportunities, Jennifer. But, again, on these shorter sailings, the dress up night is not the official Formal Night, so no need to go all out unless you'd like, and some guests certainly do!
Of course, don't forget to pack pirate attire for your
Pirate Night! Disney Cruise Line's Pirate Night is a favorite among all guests, and yes, even adults get in on the act. It's not unusual to spot families decked out in pirate costumes and gear from head to toe. Others might wear a pirate accessory or two, and all guests will receive a Pirates IN the Caribbean bandana to wear that night.
Have fun as you continue to plan for your fall sailing. I'm happy to help if you have other questions, Jennifer!
