We are sailing on the Disney Dream on Oct. 9th. I just realized our cabin is at the very back of the ship, cabin 7194. I have always heard the middle of the ship is the best location. Are we gonna be sea sick and feeling movement the entire time?

Welcome aboard, Tracy! I'm so excited for you to experience the magic of sailing with Disney Cruise Line for the very first time. I just returned home from a week-long sailing with Disney myself, and already have our next one booked!

Don't worry too much about your stateroom location. While I do recommend Midship staterooms for those who are very susceptible to motion sickness, you'll find that you won't be spending much time in your stateroom anyway with all of the activities offered all day and night around the ship. Plus, you're on a mid-level deck, which helps with the motion as well, so being in the aft of the ship shouldn't make much difference.

In fact, all of last week, I spent my nights in our stateroom in the Aft on Deck Five and it was wonderful! We had very smooth sailings all week on the Disney Wonder, and we loved our quieter location in the Aft of the ship. Since we weren't in the Midship area, not many guests passed by our stateroom, so it was a nice out of the way location that we loved. I think you'll really enjoy that too!

If you haven't already, create some personalized Disney Cruise Line themed magnets to put on the outside of your stateroom door. Not only does that make it more magical and festive, but it certainly helps to spot your stateroom door in a long hall of identical doors.

Have such fun on your cruise, Tracy!
