We will be sailing on the Disney Dream next month and I would like to know if a medical device such as a CPAP machine will count as my one carry on? It packs up into a small briefcase size bag and I was hoping to carry it on the ship with my other bag.

    Ahoy, Valerie!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I know you are counting the days until you are aboard the Disney Dream enjoying the comfortable accommodations and first class amenities. The crew will be ready to welcome and spoil you when it's your family's turn next month! I know you'll love every minute and make some very special magical memories to treasure for years to come!
I'm glad you asked this question because you should not have a problem carrying your CPAP machine through the security at the cruise terminal. It's similar to what you experience at the airport, so the size should be just fine. I've had an extra bag with me in the past, and it's never been an issue. If you need an extension chord for your machine just let your stateroom host or hostess know once you are aboard. A chord that has been approved will be provided free of charge.
Valerie, I hope you have the most magical time cruising with Disney Cruise Line this summer! If you think of any additional questions, please let us know!
    Bon Voyage!
