Ahoy there, Nancy! Thanks for sailing by planDisney with your question. I love that you’re already thinking about making your Disney Dream voyage extra magical with a splash of color! What a fun way to get into the spirit for your
Halloween on the High Seas cruise.
I took a look at the current spa services listed in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, and while
Senses Spa & Salon does offer advanced treatments and color services, it’s not clear whether that includes fantasy shades like blue. Since offerings can vary, the best advice I received when I called Disney Cruise Line directly was to stop by the spa as soon as you board. The stylists will be happy to go over what’s available on your sailing and let you know if they can help bring your vision to life.
If having blue hair is a must for your cruise, you might want to consider visiting your local salon before you set sail. That way the color has time to set properly. Freshly dyed hair can be sensitive to chlorine and salt water, so it’s usually best to avoid swimming for at least a few days after coloring, and I wouldn't want you to miss out on all the fun at
Castaway Cay! As a backup, aerosol temporary spray color is allowed onboard, and it’s an easy way to add a pop of color, especially if you want to channel your inner Joy at Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party!
Wishing you a truly colorful voyage, Nancy!
Sea ya real soon,
Eean
