Welcome aboard, Sheila!
I'm happy to let you know that although your daughter is too old for the Youth Clubs this time, she has even more fun in store as she cruises as an adult with Disney! I highly suggest that you book a meal in the
Adult Exclusive restaurant, Palo. Enjoy a luxurious dinner or head there for Palo's famous brunch on your sea day, which is not to be missed! Your daughter will be very happy that she is old enough to enjoy that with you, and will feel like royalty choosing some delicious options from the brunch offerings! Be sure to book online when your reservation window opens, as times fill up.
She'll also want to check out
Senses Spa, whether it's for a spa treatment or to enjoy a pass to the relaxing Rainforest Room, a personal favorite of mine! She'll be happy to have a quieter pace on the ship at Quiet Cove Pool, grab specialty coffees at Cove Cafe, and enjoy some of the adult-only evening fun. Don't forget the first-run films and live shows!
Be sure she checks out the Personal Navigator each day and looks for the outings with the 1820 Society. This is a social club for 18 - 20 year-olds with fun outings and meet-ups for those guests who are between the Youth Clubs and the over-21 crowd activities. They have daily outings like mini-golf, trivia, games, and more. Be sure she attends the first night's get together, as that's when they come up with what they'll do as a group during your sailing, and she'll get to meet some others her age. The group is led by the fabulous Cruise Staff team, who are super fun in their own right!
There really is
something for everyone, no matter their age, on Disney's ships!
Happy planning!
