Ahoy, Kristi!
You are getting closer to your upcoming cruise on the
Disney Destiny. It won't be long until you're sailing away on your 5-night Bahamian voyage from
Fort Lauderdale. Woo hoo!
It sounds like you are ready to grab popcorn, candy, and a drink to watch some of the latest Disney releases in the
Wonderland and
Never Land Cinemas on your cruise. Your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will have all the details on the current schedule and showtimes, but I am happy to give you an idea of what may be included on your sailing. The current lineup is Fantastic Four, The Mandalorian and Grogu, Zootopia 2, Hoppers, The Princess Diaries, Lilo and Stitch (2025), The Devil Wears Prada 2, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, and Toy Story 5. Once you connect to the ship's WiFi (DCL-Guest), you'll be able to stroll through the movies and favorite (heart) all the ones you want to see while at sea! It's always magical to see a movie for the first time on a Disney Cruise Line ship.
Movies are only one part of all the MARVELous
entertainment you'll get to experience on the Disney Destiny. I was blown away by the options and am glad you have 5 nights to enjoy as much as possible. The
Walt Disney Theatre stage will bring three stories to life: Disney Seas the Adventure, Disney Hercules, and Frozen, A Musical Spectacular. I always like to arrive early for the best seating, especially for
Disney Hercules, since it's exclusive to the Destiny. I also recommend any of the interactive shows with the ship's storytellers, Zayah and Gamble. They have a unique way of telling their tales and engaging the audience. The Grand Hall will host many of these events, so check your app for details.
Thank you for sending in your question, Kristi! We are always happy to help with cruise plans, so please let our crew know if you think of anything else before embarkation day arrives.
