I am sailing a 7 day fantasy cruise. While on vacation I choose to be relaxed and do not want to "dress" for dinner. What are my dining options on formal and semi-formal nights?

    Ahoy, Ronda!

Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How excited you must be to be counting down to a vacation on the beautiful Disney Fantasy. Although my crew loves all the vessels in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, we really enjoy this ship, and the seven-night itineraries it offers. It truly is a destination in itself, and we always disembark with a few activities not marked off our list because there is SO much to do and experience on board.

Ronda, Disney Cruise Line dining is one of my favorite topics to talk about with future cruise Guests! The unique rotational dining offers you an opportunity to visit three beautifully themed restaurants to enjoy delicious meals served by your excellent dining team. They will work diligently to provide you with the most fantastic service each night of your cruise. Although Disney Cruise Line suggests what attire to wear for dinner, you are welcome to experience the main dining venues in your relaxed clothing as long as it falls under the guidelines set by the cruise line. They only ask that you don't wear tank tops and swimwear in these main dining locations as cruise casual attire does include shorts and t-shirts.

If you decide to explore other dining options on the Disney Fantasy, you have a few to consider. First, if you feel like unwinding in your stateroom, room service is included in your cruise fare and offered 24-hours per day (it's nice to bring some small bills to tip though!). Cabanas, a casual buffet during the day, provides a relaxed feel in the evenings with a table service experience with options to eat inside or out! The menu will look similar to what you'll find in the main dining rooms on that same night. And if you want a quick bite, Flo's Cafe on the pool deck offers burgers, pizza, chicken, sandwiches, and salads. You'll want to check your Personal Navigator or the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for hours of operation if you plan to dine at any of these alternative locations.

I'm so glad you sailed over with your question, Ronda. We hope you'll keep us in mind as you continue to plan for your week in the Caribbean with Disney Cruise Line!
