Ahoy, Thomas! Welcome to planDisney...we’re so glad you sailed our way. As 2025 winds down, I hope visions of sugar plums and Disney Cruises are dancing in your head!
You’re in for such a treat.
Sailing Concierge on the Disney Destiny is going to feel absolutely magical. While I haven’t experienced concierge on this new ship just yet, I have sailed concierge on other ships twice, and that extra level of attention truly made our vacations feel effortless. I’m happy to share what I’ve learned and how it can help with your dining request.
If early seating is showing as full online, don’t worry, since your Shoreside Concierge team is usually able to assist with special situations like this, especially when there’s a medical need involved. I recommend reaching out to them directly using the contact information that was sent in your concierge welcome email. You can also
call Disney Cruise Line and ask to be connected with your Shoreside Concierge host. Let them know about the medical requirement and your preference for a private table at early dining. While nothing can be guaranteed, Concierge has always done a wonderful job helping my family get our requests met pre-cruise, and medical needs are taken very seriously.
In addition to the Concierge team, Disney Cruise Line also has a dedicated
Special Services Team for guests with medical conditions or accommodation needs. You can contact them by phone or email, and they’ll review your situation. It’s completely okay to reach out to both teams; the more support you have ahead of time, the better. Also, if you haven’t already, you can also add yourself to the early dining waitlist through the DCL website or the
Navigator app under “My Reservations.”
Once you’re onboard, be sure to stop by the Concierge Welcome Lunch on embarkation day. It’s one of my favorite perks, because it's a relaxed start to the trip and a perfect time to chat with the Concierge team in person about any other requests.
Thomas, I hope this helps, and I can’t wait for your concierge adventure on the Destiny to begin!
Sea ya real soon,
Eean
