Howdy, Raeann! It's nice of you to stop by planDisney to get assistance with planning a land and sea Disney adventure!
Our family has cruised with Disney Cruise Line and enjoyed time at the
Walt Disney World theme parks both before and after our time at sea. We’ve had the opportunity to visit the parks before a cruise and, on another occasion, after our cruise.
I must admit, starting our Disney adventure with the excitement of the theme parks, including riding attractions, meeting characters, and soaking in all the magic, which is an amazing way to kick off a vacation! Then, ending with a relaxing Disney cruise allows us to unwind, enjoy incredible dining, Broadway-caliber shows, and the ocean breeze, making for the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation.
To add a Walt Disney World theme park visit to your vacation, you'll first decide whether you'd like to visit before or after your cruise. Once you've chosen your dates, head to the Walt Disney World website to book a vacation package, which includes your resort hotel stay and theme park tickets.
If you’d like to make your theme park adventure all-inclusive, consider adding a
Disney Dining Plan, allowing you to enjoy pre-paid meals and snacks throughout your stay.
A Disney vacation package, which is a resort room and
theme park tickets, currently requires only a $200 deposit, with the remaining balance due 45 days before check-in. If you prefer a resort-only reservation to enjoy the magic outside of the theme parks, you’ll pay one night’s total cost upfront, with the remaining balance due at check-in.
If you plan to visit the theme parks before your cruise, staying at a Disney Resort hotel makes it easy to enjoy early park entry and complimentary transportation. If you're visiting after your cruise, consider a
Disney Deluxe Resort to fully unwind and extend the magic!
Let me know if you’d like additional help planning your land-and-sea adventure!
Toodles,
Korliss
