    Sailing on 8/10 out of Barcelona & wondering what clothes to pack for husband & 10yr old son for dinners. Are very nice shorts ever OK in main dining? How formal does the 10 yr old need to be for formal & semi formal nights? It's stressing me o

    Ahoy Samantha!
    Please don't let anything about your upcoming Disney Cruise stress you out!  For the cruise casual nights, I would plan on nice shorts for your son and khaki slacks with a golf or polo shirt for your husband.  My husband usually takes only two pairs of khaki pants because he likes to change back into his shorts after dinner.  For the formal and semi-formal nights, pack a pair of khaki slacks with two nice button shirts or polo shirts for polo shirts for your son.  If anything gets on the pants, there are laundry facilities onboard or your stateroom host/hostess can send them to be cleaned.  The fees for these services are nominal.  I've been known to be a part of the Overpackers Club, but I've done better in my most recent cruises so my advice to you is less is more! Pack items that you can mix and match and roll your clothes when you put them in the suitcase because it saves lots of room ,and the wrinkles are minimal.
