We are sailing on 8/17 to the Bahamas from NYC. August 18th is my husband's 40th birthday and my twin's 4th birthday. Should I purchase a cake ahead of time by calling Disney? I read somewhere that you can add special occasions on your reservations.

    Hi there Michelle!
Disney makes sure birthdays are extra special and that is no different on Disney Cruise Line!  Celebrating two magical birthdays will require a double dose of pixie dust on your sailing!  If you haven't already, make sure to have the birthdays noted on your cruise reservation by calling (800) 951-3532.  In the Gifts and Amenities section of DisneyCruise.com you will find the information for the Happy Birthday Celebration Package which includes festive in room decorations, a door magnet and a delicious birthday cake.  The cake order form can be faxed in or called in and needs to be requested at least seven days prior to your sail date.  The cake can be delivered to your stateroom or to your dining table. Your dining servers will make sure your husband's big 4-0 and the twin's 4th is recognized at dinner on the 18th!  Also, stop by Guest Services to pick up Birthday Pins!  They make for great keepsakes!
Happy early Birthday to your crew!
