We are sailing in April and have a couple early risers (like 4am!!), dad and daughter. What are some things for them to do on the Magic that early in the day? Will there be any food options open?

Welcome back, Jessica! Wow, 4:00 a.m. That is certainly early! Whew! Well, I can honestly say that I have not once been up and about on the ships at 4:00 a.m. myself, I don't have personal experience to give you ideas on what to do that early. So, I took a look at the Personal Navigators from my most recent cruise last month on the Disney Magic to see what might be available.

I'm sorry to tell you that nothing is really happening at that time. The fitness center opens at 6:30 a.m. which is about the earliest thing opening, but that is reserved for guests 18 and up. If they like to take walks, they could head down to the walking track on Deck 4 that circles the whole ship. I love to jog or walk on the track as it offers a beautiful view (though it'll be dark when they're there), and there's always a nice breeze. Plus, parts of the track take guests into the anchor area of the ship, which is fun to see.

Restaurants, including the buffet and quick service spots on the pool deck don't open until at least 7:00 a.m. Those hours will be listed daily in your Personal Navigator. However, I'm happy to tell you that Room Service is available 24-hours a day, as is the beverage station near the AquaLab on the pool deck. They might want to order breakfast or snacks to the stateroom and then take it with them elsewhere to enjoy while the rest of you sleep. They might find it fun to explore the ship and sit and enjoy a different area each morning as they snack. If they plan to take advantage of Room Service, be sure to bring some singles with you, as it's traditional to tip a few dollars to the Cast Member who delivers your Room Service.

I'm sorry I don't have too many other suggestions for you that early in the morning, but once dawn hits, you'll find all sorts of activities and events to keep the whole family busy all day and into the night. Have fun as you continue to plan, Jessica! Stop back with any other questions you might have!
