Ahoy, Kailyn!
It sure sounds like you have a special vacation planned for December with
Disney Cruise Line. My crew is also counting down to a
Very Merrytime Sailing this holiday season! We can't wait to "sea" the ship decked out with the beautifully themed festive decor, especially the life-sized Gingerbread House in the Grand Lobby Atrium. I love how the fragrant smell of the gingerbread fills this area of the ship. It is an extra-magical time to be onboard and visiting
Castaway Cay with all the holiday happenings on both land and sea!
My daughter will be celebrating her birthday while we are at sea, so I've been checking the Onboard Gifts selection frequently because I'd love to surprise her with some Christmas-themed in-room decor. I remember seeing some festive options last year, so my fingers are crossed they will be available for pre-order again soon. I know your parents will love some extra pixie dust in their stateroom, so I suggest checking the Onboard Gifts section often for any updates to the gifts and amenities selection. In the past, we've purchased stateroom decorations for birthday celebrations, and it does make for a wonderful surprise for the entire cruise. I've even held on to the decorations as souvenirs and used them for our at-home celebrations!
Kailyn, thank you for visiting us hEAR at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We hope you'll come back again real soon.
Have a magical day, and happy planning!
Nancy
