Welcome back, Brian! I'm so happy to hear that you and your new bride enjoyed your honeymoon on the Disney Fantasy a few months ago! Congratulations on your marriage!
Though we love the Dream and Fantasy, my family actually prefers the Magic and Wonder for their smaller sizes, which means we can get more involved, get to know the Cast Members better and there are many less guests. You'll enjoy the smaller ship for those reasons, but there are so many other things the Magic has to offer. You'll see different Broadway-style shows each night, After Hours (the adult district onboard) has great new clubs, the decor is all different and you'll enjoy some great restaurants, including the brand new Carioca's. This South American-themed restaurant has some of my favorite menu items, that I'm sure you'll enjoy too.
Be sure to book a romantic dinner at Palo on the Magic. Palo's decor was recently updated , but still serves the most amazing meals you can imagine, all in that romantic, intimate atmosphere. It is not to be missed!
And if you're a dare devil, be sure to check out the AquaDunk, the newest ride at sea with Disney. This slide starts when the floor drops out from beneath you, plummeting you into a near-vertical drop before you twist and turn out over the edge of the ship and then splash to the end. What fun it is!
Entertainment, activities and events feature some of the same things you experienced on the Fantasy, but lots of others just for the Magic, so you will have new things to enjoy! Check out this
video about the adult activities and spaces on the Magic and then check out the other Re-Imagined Disney Magic videos about the other spaces onboard this ship that you'll get to enjoy when you sail on the Disney Magic later this year, Brian! I hope they give you a great sneak peek at all the fun you have in store!
Happy planning!
