Sailed Disney in 2001 but don't remember much. We had a Navigators Verandah which we loved and are getting again. We booked room 8520 on Fantasy. Is that a good floor and part of the ship to be on? I remember being a bit sea sick last time.

Welcome aboard, Patty! Congratulations on booking your next cruise with Disney! Since you last sailed in 2001, there have been so many exciting additions and changes, including the new Fantasy, which you'll get to experience! You're in for a real treat!

Stateroom 8520 is a great stateroom in a wonderful location. It is toward the Forward of the ship, not far from the Forward elevators. This makes it really convenient as these elevators are far less crowded than the Midship elevators, so you'll find getting around a breeze from your stateroom.

Guests who suffer from seasickness tend to do best in a stateroom that is mid-level deck and Midship. Deck Eight is a nice spot, and I don't think you should encounter much movement of the ship in your location unless you experience a particularly rough sea day.

I hope those details help, Patty! Enjoy planning!
