Welcome aboard, Howard! Your big party is going to enjoy a very magical Christmas at sea on the
Very Merrytime sailing with Disney Cruise Line later this year! Sailing with Disney is always magical, but there is something even more special about spending holidays at sea with Captain Mickey and his crew!
Did you know that Disney Cruise Line partners with resorts in every one of its home ports? They do this to make it easy for cruise guests to transition from land to sea and back again with Disney taking care of all of the details. Especially in December just before Christmas, you'll want to make the traveling and pre-stays as easy as possible. I suggest flying into Miami, as Disney offers optional
Ground Transfers between the Miami airport and the cruise port. They also offer transfers from the airport to the partner resorts, then to the cruise port, and either back to the resort or to the airport after the sailing. Letting Disney do the driving is always the most relaxing way to begin and end your vacation. My family and I have used their transfers in lots of the Disney Cruise Line home ports before and after we sail, and have stayed in a few of their partner resorts in those home port cities too. I promise you that it doesn't get easier than that!
In Miami, Disney Cruise Line partners with the Conrad Miami and the Marriott Stanton South Beach. Give the agents at Disney Cruise Line a call at (800) 951-3532 for more details on these pre- and post-cruise stays and ground transfers. They can add these to your cruise reservation. If you'd like them to arrange your flights into Miami, they can do that too!
Have fun planning, Howard, and please stop back to visit us again if you have other questions before your cruise this December! We're happy to help!
