Ahoy, Joan Faith!
Are you spending your days Disney "Dream"ing? It won't be long before you're waving "bon voyage" to Port Canaveral and heading out to sea for your Bahamian adventure!
It sounds like you've taken the right steps to register your Mouseketeers online for the
youth programming on the Disney Dream. The next thing you'll need to do is pick up their Oceaneer Bands, which can't be done until you are in the cruise terminal or aboard the ship. If the line is really long in the terminal, I suggest stopping by either the Oceaneer Club or Oceaneer Lab once you are onboard. Both will be available for Open House for most of the first afternoon, so it's the perfect time to pick up the bands, explore the areas with your sailors and take some pictures of them checking out the amazingly themed spaces. You'll want to check your first cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator that you'll receive upon check-in for the hours of operation for Day One.
The Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab will be open from early in the morning until late at night, which my kids love! Your sailors will be able to visit throughout the day to experience the secured programming or free exploration. There will be times that the club or lab offer an Open House. During this time, the kids checked in will move to the space that is available for secured programming until the Open House is over. My kids have always enjoyed the flexibility of being able to choose to participate in the planned activities like Wacky Relays, Super Sloppy Science, Magic Playfloor and my son's personal favorite, GAGA ball or just being able to color with a counselor or play with the life size Mr. Potato head in Andy's Room. Speaking of the counselors, they are fabulous! My children always enjoy getting to know them throughout our sailings.
Have a magical time!
Nancy
