We sail on the Fantasy in a few weeks. The only dining available when we booked was second seating. I would LOVE an earlier seating. Is there any way that can be changed when we are aboard?

    Ahoy Helen!
Your vacation dreams will become a reality as you set sail for an amazing voyage on the newest gem in the Disney fleet in just a few weeks!  I'm so excited for you!
There is still a chance you will be able to secure main seating for your dining each evening.  When you check in at the cruise terminal, the castmember will give you your first cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator.  On the front page, you will notice directions for changing dinner seating times so my advice is to follow these instructions as soon as you board.  Disney Cruise Line does their best to accommodate all requests so my fingers are crossed that it will happen for you!
If you do keep your second seating time, your show time will be at 6:15 each evening followed by your dinner at 8:15.  My family has enjoyed both seatings and if we have second, we usually eat a late lunch and have an afternoon snack to hold us over.  Although we rarely eat dinner at 8:15 at home, we don't mind the later seating because it gives us more time to enjoy the ship in the afternoon.
I'm so glad you stopped by with your question, Helen!  Please let me know if you think of anything else while you count down the final days before your magical sailing!
    Bon Voyage!
