Greetings, fellow camping aficionado, and welcome to planDisney! My husband and I have a travel trailer and love taking it on fun adventures. We have a campsite booked this fall at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground at Walt Disney World Resort, and I can hardly wait. Sandy, there's nothing like camping, and I especially enjoy the camaraderie we've found among fellow campers. And although
Disneyland Resort doesn't have its own campground, I bet we can find a practically perfect place for you to camp out under the stars.
A quick Google search shows several campgrounds close to Disneyland Resort, with a couple in walking distance of the Theme Parks. How amazing is that? You can spend your day at the
Theme Parks and then head back to your camper to make some s'mores that evening. That sounds like heaven on earth to me! Please be sure to do your online search for campgrounds with full hookups in the Anaheim area, Sandy, and then give a couple of them quick calls to see how close they are to Disneyland Resort. I am confident you'll find something to get back to nature! Campsites fill up quickly, though, so I'd do your research as soon as possible to secure exactly what you want.
If you're planning a visit in 2023, you're in for a treat because Disneyland Resort is celebrating the
100th anniversary of the Disney Company. You'll be able to purchase dazzling merchandise commemorating the 100th year. In addition, there are special shows and parades such as the
Magic Happens Parade at Disneyland Park and
World of Color - ONE at Disney California Adventure Park. It's the party of the century!
Sandy, I'm sending pixie dust and laundry tokens that you'll find the perfect campsite for a visit to Disneyland this year. Please feel free to
stop by planDisney anytime to talk about two of my favorite things: Disney and camping!
Magic (and campfires) await,
Elaine
