Hi Mitzi! Welcome to planDisney, and I’m so glad you stopped by with this great question. Planning ahead for parking (especially with an RV) can make your Disneyland day feel much smoother right from the start.
Yes, the Disneyland Resort does offer
parking for oversized vehicles, including RVs, as long as they do not exceed 40 feet in length. These vehicles are directed to the Toy Story Parking Area, which is the designated location for larger vehicles and a great starting point for your day.
Parking reservations are not required, so you can simply arrive and pay at the parking toll booth when you enter. The Toy Story Parking Area typically opens 60 minutes before the earliest park opening time and stays open until about one hour after closing (hours can shift a bit, so it’s always a good idea to double-check the
Disneyland website as your visit gets closer).
One important thing to keep in mind is that overnight RV parking is not permitted at the Disneyland Resort. If you’re planning to stay overnight in your RV, you’ll want to arrange accommodations at a nearby campground or RV park in the Anaheim area.
Once you’re parked, you’ll hop aboard the complimentary shuttle, which takes you straight to the Main Entrance Esplanade between
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park. It’s a smooth and easy ride that drops you right near security screening, making it especially helpful at the start and end of the day. While the walk is technically doable (about 20 to 25 minutes), most Guests prefer to save their steps for strolling down Main Street or exploring Buena Vista Street.
Mitzi, I hope this helps you feel ready to roll into your Disneyland adventure with ease. If you have any additional questions, please visit us again at planDisney.
Have an amazing visit filled with plenty of fun from your first shuttle ride to your final stroll out of the Esplanade.
