    RV parking

Hi Yadira! Welcome to planDisney. I’m so glad you stopped by with your question. Let’s talk through RV parking at the Disneyland Resort so you can plan your visit with confidence.

Yes, the Disneyland Resort does offer parking for oversized vehicles, including RVs, as long as they do not exceed 40 feet in length. Currently, oversized and recreational vehicles are directed to the Toy Story Parking Area, which is the designated location for larger vehicles.

Parking reservations are not required. For oversized vehicles like RVs, payment is typically handled on-site at the parking toll booth upon arrival. The Toy Story Parking Area generally opens 60 minutes before the earliest park opening time and remains open until one hour after the parks close for the day (hours are always subject to change, so it’s a good idea to check the Disneyland website closer to your visit).

One important detail to keep in mind is that overnight RV parking is not permitted at the Disneyland Resort. If you’re planning to stay overnight in your RV, you’ll want to look into local RV parks or campgrounds in the Anaheim area. There are several well-reviewed options nearby that offer full overnight accommodations.

Once parked at the Toy Story Parking Area, you can  take advantage of the complimentary shuttle transportation to the Main Entrance Esplanade serving both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. The buses run regularly throughout the day and provide a direct route to the security screening area near the parks. While it is technically walkable (about 20 to 25 minutes depending on pace), most Guests find the shuttle to be the most convenient option, especially at the beginning or end of a long park day.

Yadira, I hope this helps you feel ready to roll into your Disneyland adventure with ease. If you have any additional questions, please visit us again at planDisney.

Wishing you a wonderful visit filled with magical moments,
    David
