Hi, I will be running in the Wine & Dine half marathon, but there are no more Disney hotel avaliable. Is there another hotel that provides transportation to the races in the morning?

    Hi Al!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope your training is going well for the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon as it quickly approaches, it's practically just around the river bend!

RunDisney transportation is provided for all Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. While availability is subject to change and I'm not certain the exact amount of nights you were planning on staying, if I check availability right now for the Saturday night for the run on Sunday morning, there is still availability in all three Walt Disney World Resort categories, Value, Moderate and Deluxe. If you are having difficultly finding availability, I would recommend searching the nights individually and potentially calling 407-939-iRun if you need assistance.

For off property hotels, I know in the past some of the Disney Springs Area Resort Hotels have provided transportation for Guests, but it varies for each weekend and race length. Since they are not affiliated with runDisney, I'm not certain what they may provide, but I would recommend giving them a call for more information! Another option is to utilize a service like Uber the morning of. In my experience, there are always drivers out, even at that early time in the morning, and the rides are very reasonably priced, usually no more than $10 between any two locations on property.

Please let me know if you have any other questions before your trip!
