Hello Jade! Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I completely understand wanting to maintain your fitness routine during your stay at Walt Disney World Resort. Unfortunately, inline skates are among the
prohibited items. I have some other suggestions I'm hoping you may enjoy instead. As you mentioned, there are
running trails throughout Walt Disney World Resort. Another possibility is
renting bicycles, or for a fun group activity, try the
Surrey Bikes! I have pedaled these on the path around Crescent Lake several times -- let me tell you, there are some hills there that provide quite the workout!
Several Resort Hotels have
tennis courts that are open to guests of all Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. A fee applies for equipment rental. Some Resort Hotels offer
fitness centers, although generally these are reserved for guests of that hotel only. Many resorts also offer yoga; check your Resort Hotel's recreation calendar or ask the Lobby Concierge.
While motor-powered
Sea Raycer boats are more my speed, if you'd prefer to explore Bay Lake using muscle power,
kayak and canoe rentals are available at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.
I hope that helps! Please let us know if you have additional questions. Have a wonderful visit!
Anne Marie
