Are there any running routes around Disneyland that I can do to keep up my training for a half marathon during my visit?

    Hi Vicki!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It can be tricky to keep up with training while on a vacation, but I love that you are planning ahead and plan on staying dedicated!

If you are a frequent Walt Disney World visitor you may have heard of the New Balance Running Trails that are offered at some Walt Disney World Resort hotels. While there are not courses dedicated to running like this at Disneyland Resort, I think you'll still find plenty of available places to run! I don't know how familiar you are with Disneyland Resort, but it is in the middle of a populated area in Anaheim, so if you run around the perimeter of the property it'll be similar to running through the streets of any major city. Depending on how long of a distance you are looking to run, I'd recommend going around the full property by making a square on the following streets. I'd go from S Harbor Blvd down to W Katella Ave, up Disneyland Dr then back across on W Ball Road. This map should help make sense of my directions! Just please be aware this is not a running course and you'll be running on the sidewalk of a busy area. There are plenty of pedestrians out and about and you'll probably even spot some fellow runners. If you'd like to map this ahead of time, I usually use MapMyRun.com and you can enter your hotel as your starting point.

I hope this helps you stay on track while visiting Disneyland Resort! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
