I am “running” in the princess half marathon next weekend and would like to preorder merchandise as I understand the expo is crazy. I saw a prior post that policed a website and said to click on registration, but I don’t see that option?

    Hi Laurie!

Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so excited for you to experience all the magic and tutu-fun that comes with Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend!

You are correct that at one point you were able to pre-purchase commemorative items within your runDisney registration which included Event Merchandise Bundles, Princess Weekend Jackets and the Dooney & Bourke bags specifically made for this race. Unfortunately the window for this has closed as our runcation is just around the river bend! For future races, how you would normally do this is to go to the runDisney website and in the top right hand corner click Help & Support then Manage Account. From here you'll log in with the account you registered with, which will take you to a registration page where you'll see a tab to Buy Products. If you check right now the only item that is still in there is to add the Race Retreat to your registration, but this is where the commemorative items would have been. The great news is almost all of these items will still be available even if you didn't pre-purchase (with the exception of the jacket).

The runDisney Health & Fitness Expo can be busy, but there are certainly down times. There are certain items that sell out quickly, like the running shoe ornament and the commemorative wine glasses, for which a lot of runners are ready to go when the doors open. If you don't have your heart set on one specific item, I'd recommend going later in the day, where I think you'll find crowds and lines to be very manageable! I usually go around 4 PM or so on Friday and genuinely find it to be practically perfect!

I hope this helped to ease your concerns! I'll be running the Disney Fairy Tale Challenge myself, so if you see me please say Hiya Pal!
