Hello, I am running the Marathon on Sun, Jan 7, 2018. My flight will not get in until 6:30 pm on Saturday. What are my options for picking up the bib? Can I pick up the morning of the race with an ID and waiver? What time should I take the bus to pick up?

    Hi Lob!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. With what always feels like the busiest time of year upon us, Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend will be here before we know it!

Since your flight will arrive after the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo closes you will need to pick up your bib the morning of the race. While there are places to print your waiver at the Expo, you will not have this option the morning of so you are correct that you will need to have your printed and signed waiver with you plus a valid photo ID. As race day approaches, be on the lookout for the release of the Digital Event Guide. In it will be detailed information on what time the buses will start running for each race morning. Since you will need to pick up your bib I would plan on being on the very first bus that leaves your Walt Disney World Resort hotel to give yourself plenty of time. Last year for the Walt Disney World Marathon, the morning Event Transportation began operating at 3 AM. This is subject to change, so please refer to this years information when it is posted. If it is the same, I would plan on being at the pickup location by 2:45 AM to give yourself enough time to queue for the bus and board. When you are dropped off ask one of the volunteers to point you in the direction of Runner Relations and they should get you taken care of.

Please come back and let me know if you have any other questions!
