For RunDisney Half Marathon weekend 1/30-2/1 will there be race specific PhotoPass locations in the parks on Monday following race weekend (2/2)? They have them at the WDW races, does Disneyland have them too?

Runners, on your mark, get set, welcome to planDisney. Hey there, Jenney. We’re so glad you sprinted over to share this question with us. The countdown is on for the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend and I’m racing to help you prepare.

I love participating in runDisney races and absolutely love that there are Disney PhotoPass photographers along the course to capture all the magical miles I logged. While there are several photo ops with characters along the course (and a few designated PhotoPass locations during the Yoga event), I don’t recall there being any specific PhotoPass locations in the parks the day after the races.

Not to worry though, you can still bring your hard earned metal to the parks for photos to commemorate your achievement. I went to the parks right after the races with my race medal for that iconic castle photo. To my surprise, when I looked at all of my pictures, there was a super cute and fun Magic Shot with Mickey and Minnie in their running gear. You can always check with your friendly PhotoPass photographer to see if this Magic Shot is available.

If you haven’t already, be sure to check out the Digital Expo & Event Guide. There’s so much great information, including course maps, costume guidelines and how to access your photos. Speaking of costumes, I love seeing all of the creativity on the course. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of running through the Happiest Place on Earth.

Well, Jenney, while this might not be the answer you wanted, I hope that it was still helpful. The countdown to the fun is on - we’re almost there! Here’s wishing you all the best as you wrap up your training and approach the starting line. Wishing you a most magical run through the Happiest Place on Earth. You got this!
