    When is runDisney 2023

    Hi Sharon! 

    I am a huge runDisney fan! Every year I attempt to run every runDisney event at Walt Disney World. You can check out the runDisney website for a listing of all the running events for which dates are finalized. This includes several 2022 races, including the Springtime Surprise Weekend (March 31-April 3) and Disney's Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend (November 4-6 2022).  

    The 2023 runDisney events that have established dates include:

    *2023 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend: January 5-8, 2023. The weekend events are comprised of a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Full Marathon.

    *2023 Disney Princess Marathon Weekend: February 23-26. 2023.  The weekend events are comprised of Disney Princess Sunrise Yoga, 5K, 10K, and a Half Marathon.

    The dates for other 2023 runDisney events will be announced later this year. I ran during the Walt Disney World Marathon weekend this year and I had a blast! Disney provides bus transportation from the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels to the start line. This takes away all of the stress of knowing where to go on race day. I stayed at Disney's Pop Century Resort and I was thrilled with the convenience of getting to and from the races and the parks!

    I recommend checking out the runDisney Blog to stay up-to-date on the latest runDisney happenings. You can also find great resources for training for these runDisney events online!
