Rumor is if you are at Magic Kingdom early before the gates open they have the characters come do an opening party or parade. Is this true? We will be there Feb. 5 - 12. What time do we need to be there to catch the action? Thnx

Hi, Joanne! It is not just a rumor.  It is the Magic Kingdom Welcome Show.  This eight-minute show takes place before Guests enter the park at the opening of the day.  The performers use the train station as the stage.  One of the Main Street U.S.A. citizens welcomes Mickey Mouse and other characters, along with a randomly-selected Guest family.  There is singing, confetti, and pixie dust.  I would suggest being there about 30 minutes early to secure a great spot for the show.  It is a great way to start the day! Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
