In the royal guest rooms how does a mother pumping breast milk to freeze do so? I have read there are no freezers in the room. How do you accommodate that?

    Howdy Melissa!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.   I am so glad you've stopped by to ask a question about visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.   It's my pleasure to help you out today.    I breast fed all three of my children so I understand the importance of pumping and saving every ounce of your precious milk.   I hated to waste even a drop.

A mini fridge will be available in your room at Disney's Port Orleans Resort- Riverside.   This fridge does not have a freezer section.   I have found from experience that it does a wonderful job of keeping items cold.   As your milk would not freeze it would stay rather cold during your trip.  There is no other freezer for Guest use at this resort.  If a freezer is very important to you, you could always look at moving your reservation to The Cabins at  Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.   These cabins have a full kitchen equipped with full size fridge with a freezer section.   Another option would be a one bedroom villa at Disney's Riviera Resort.   These rooms will also have a full size refrigerator along with washer and dryer and this Resort is located on the new Disney Skyliner route.

I do encourage you to bring along a cooler into the theme parks if you are going to pump while at a park.  You can pump at the Baby Care Centers in each park, and store your milk in your cooler.   Ice can be requested for your cooler at any Quick Service Dining location.  If you have any other questions please let us know.  It's always fun to help out a fellow Guest.
