What is the route for ferry boats around Epcot? Clockwise, counterclockwise, or according to dock numbers on the disney site?

    Hi Paul,

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  If you're looking for a leisurely trip across World Showcase Lagoon at Epcot, the FriendShip Boats are the way to go.

I think I found the map you're seeing at the bottom of the Walt Disney World Water Transportation page that has the numbers shown. Those numbers do not correspond to the order in which the stops are made, but are just markers to show you the locations of the launches.  There are actually just 2 routes across World Showcase Lagoon on the FriendShip Boats.  If you board at the FriendShip Launch near Mexico, you'll be dropped off near Germany.  If you board near Canada, you'll be dropped off near Morocco.

You might also see on the map (marked as "1") the boat launch at the Epcot International Gateway.  This boat travels to Disney's Hollywood Studios, with stops at Disney's BoardWalk, Disney's Yacht & Beach Club and the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin along the way.

While it's often faster to walk than take the boats, it's definitely nice to relax and take in the sights for a few minutes.

Wishing you a magical vacation!  Please visit us again if we can help answer any other questions.
