Howdy, Dan, and welcome to the best panel in the playroom, the planDisney panel! Thank you for entrusting us to address this important question, partner. My family eats plant-based for health reasons, so I always double-check menus for ingredients....and my boots for snakes! I have a reservation in a few weeks at
Roundup Rodeo BBQ, and I've determined they'll be able to rustle up some plant-based dishes for my cowpokes. So let's see what we can discover about that BBQ sauce.
I spoke with a friendly Cast Member who said that ingredients are always subject to change due to suppliers and availability. He recommended you email special.diets@disneyworld.com with any requests for specific ingredients. According to the
Special Dietary Requests page, you should also inform your server about any allergies when arriving at the restaurant. The chef at
Tony's Town Square Restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park once visited our table to discuss my niece's carrot allergy, and I've found that all the restaurants at
Walt Disney World Resort are happy to address any dietary concerns.
Your upcoming visit will be in November, so I hope your family plans to enjoy the
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival. We don't know the exact dates, but it typically goes through mid-November. My family looks forward to the
Eat to the Beat Concert Series as a way to let loose and have a rootin' tootin' good time!
Dan, I hope your upcoming visit is magical because, as Woody would say, you're my favorite deputy. Please
stop by planDisney anytime! I'll keep the campfire blazing.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
