Round Up Rodeo BBQ - Guest does not eat pork, can we request more chicken or beef instead of pork items?

Howdy, partner! I am so glad you moseyed by planDisney on your way to the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Norma, rustlin' up some grub at Roundup Rodeo BBQ is one of my family's favorite things to do. Here, "you - are - a - TOY!" is an expression of love. Where else can you grab a riding horse and gallop to your table? You're not three years old? It doesn't matter. Everyone is a kid all over Walt Disney World Resort. Here, everyone gets to be a toy. It's the perfect time to be hysterical!

The Roundup Rodeo menu is a buffet served family-style. This means you are welcome to seconds, and everything is brought to your table. To start, your server brings The Prospector’s Homemade Cheddar Biscuits with Sweet Pepper Jelly. Now, this is the one time I would encourage the adult to peek out and say, "Don't fill up on bread!" The biscuits are oh-so-tempting and seem to whisper, "Just one more," but they are just the start. The salads are amazing. My family is not vegan, but we tried Wheezy's Watermelon Salad because it sounded so good. It was!

Your main course begins with a choice of platters. One has house-smoked meats, including ribs, brisket, sausage and chicken. The other is plant-based with bratwurst, cauliflower, and rib chop. These are served on a large platter brought to your table with all of the selections to share. We all know no toy gets left behind, ever. But since you aren't supposed to play with your food, this does not apply to pork. Just let your server know if something is offered that your family will not eat. My family does not like beef, so we ordered ours without brisket. Hakuna Matata!

With the platter and Reach for the Sides, you can ask for an extra bite to leave the table stuffed, like any good toy. But save room for dessert! Everybody gets to choose one from a selection of sweet, tart and chocolatey treats. (And let's be honest: this is the real reason not to fill up on biscuits.)

I hope your trip to Walt Disney World brings out the kid and toy in everyone, Norma. Please come back by planDisney with any other questions. You have a friend in us!

    To Infinity and Beyond!
