Are round blow up toddler life jackets permitted in WDW resort pools

Hi, Pamela!  I get asked this question often by friends who are going with children, and to be honest, sometimes, your mileage may vary.

I actually just spoke with several life guards in the past week about this exact some thing.  There is generally no problem at all with you bringing your own floatation devices.  The only time there is an issue is if a lifeguard feels they cannot properly monitor the safety of other guests because of your floatation device.

Large rafts or floats are not permitted, and things that go high out of the water are generally not allowed.  It is, however, up to the individual lifeguard to make the final call.

I hope this helps.  There are life jackets in various sizes available at the resort pool that you can use at no additional charge if you'd rather save room in your luggage for other souvenirs.
