Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kathy!
This is another great question about dining onboard Disney Cruise Line. I am so honored to be able to help you prepare for your upcoming sailing. I have to admit, I overindulge while cruising - the food is just too good to not enjoy it! The best part is the service experience and dining venues which only add to the magic. Dinner in the main dining rooms is often one of the only times when I can convince my kids to leave the Youth Clubs!
Rotational Dining is one of the many reasons Disney Cruise Line stands out in the cruise industry for service. Currently, each ship has three main dining venues onboard for guests to enjoy their meal each evening. What sets Disney Cruise Line apart is, as you experience each dining room, you have your same service team each night. You get to know your server and the rest of this top-notch team of Cast Members well, and they get to know you too! They do a great job of remembering your favorites, likes and dislikes and are able to make personalized suggestions from the menu each night. During our cruises, we often found our drinks waiting for us when we sat down to dinner! My son even got a special dessert from our server celebrating his favorite football team.
With three main dining venues, you will experience at least one restaurant more than once if you are sailing on a four night cruise or longer. The menu will change from night to night, so even when dining in the same room twice, you will get to enjoy a different experience. I like to bring my camera to dinner to capture all the fun moments with the dining team.
Please stop back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any additional questions you have Kathy! We are glad to help you plan your adventure.
Bon voyage! Angie
