We want to be "Rope Droppers." We are staying at Beach Club. I'm wondering if I can get to MK using the buses for a 7:00 am open.

    Hi Dan,

Thanks so much for sending us another great question!  As a dedicated "rope dropper" myself, I can tell you that mornings at Magic Kingdom are my absolute favorite!  A 7:00 a.m. park opening might not be for everyone, but I think the lower crowds and shorter wait times for attractions that you usually find more than make up for the early wake-up call.  It's also a beautiful sight to see the morning sun shining on Cinderella Castle as you walk down Main Street, U.S.A.

The complimentary bus transportation from generally begins one hour before a theme park's opening time until one hour after its closing time.  That means that you will be able to catch the bus from Disney's Beach Club Resort to Magic Kingdom starting at around 6:00 a.m. if Magic Kingdom is opening at 7:00 a.m.  I'd plan on being at the bus stop at least 30-45 minutes before park opening to be sure you arrive for the "Welcome Show" and actual "rope drop" moment.

I hope that helps, Dan, and wishing you a magical vacation!  Please visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel again if we can help answer any other questions.
