Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jessica!
For
Walt Disney World Resort hotel Guests who plan to take advantage of early morning
Extra Magic Hours, I would recommend getting to the Theme Park at least 30 minutes before Extra Magic Hours begin. If you’re using
complimentary Walt Disney World Resort transportation, ask your hotel’s concierge about the best strategy for getting to the Theme Park of your choice prior to the start of the Extra Magic Hours. If you’re driving, just make sure you leave yourself enough time to park, take the tram or walk to the entrance, and go through security.
In my experience,
Disney’s Hollywood Studios will process Guests through security and the ticket tap points and allow everyone to line up around the Crossroads of the World. At
Magic Kingdom Park, Guests are allowed to walk down Main Street U.S.A., but are restricted from entering any of the “lands” prior to the official start of Extra Magic Hours. At
Epcot, you’ll find people beginning to make their way toward Future World, and at
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, most Guests will make their way as quickly as possible toward
Pandora - The World of Avatar where Cast Members will allow them to line up prior to the bridge into Pandora next to
Tiffins Restaurant. While Cast Members will not begin letting Guests board attractions prior to the official start of Extra Magic Hours, you’ll want to make sure you’re there bright and early in order to be at the front of the line.
Did you know that from Aug. 29 (Sept. 1 at Disney's Hollywood Studios) until Nov. 2,
Guests can experience "Extra" Extra Magic Hours? You can find out more about these daily, limited-time
Extra, Extra Magic Hours by visiting the Walt Disney World Resort website.
Hopefully this answers your question, Jessica! Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help you as you plan your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
