Hi there, Kate, and welcome back to planDisney! I'm so happy you're here with this great question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! It sounds like you're traveling with a little one who is excited about a royal makeover at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!
Kate, I can relate to wanting to do as much as possible during a day at
Magic Kingdom Park! Starting early is definitely the key to checking off items from your must-do list. I'm here to encourage you and also be candid with you. Even when my family is one of the first in the park, it still takes time to navigate to our first attraction, board, and ride it. Factor in a bathroom break or a snack stop, and your timeline shifts even more. I would prepare to ride a less-in-demand attraction and be pleasantly surprised if you're able to ride Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in that amount of time.
If I were you, I would not count on being able to tap in at 7:45 am, ride Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and make it to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique by 8:10 am. I'm not saying it's impossible - there are just a lot of factors to consider. One of the main ones is the availability of the attraction. My family recently arrived early and strategically waited for the "rope drop" of
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, only for the attraction to have a delayed opening due to unforeseen circumstances. The attraction ended up opening about 30 minutes later, so thankfully we were able to ride at that time. Looking back, we could have enjoyed other attractions during those first few minutes, like
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and
Prince Charming Regal Carousel. Many Guests go straight toward Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, so that queue fills up quickly.
Remember that you can arrive at Magic Kingdom Park about an hour before the posted opening time. Cast Members will direct you toward available attractions. This is also a great time to take photos in front of Cinderella Castle, since the crowds are generally lighter and the sun isn't as bright.
Kate, I hope this is helpful to you as you count down to your arrival! Please stop by planDisney with any other questions you have.
See ya real soon!
