    The rope drop ceremony is for all ticket holders or just ticket holders that are staying at the Disney resorts?

    Howdy Adrian,

    While my family is generally in the parks early in the morning, we are rarely there for the rope drop ceremony. However, we have caught the ceremony and it was a fun way to start the morning.

    As long as it is not an Extra Magic Hour morning, any guest with a ticket can enjoy the opening ceremony at the parks. Extra Magic Hours are for guests staying at the Walt Disney World Resorts and can occur in the morning or the evening.
