    chEARs Lynn!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love that you are already planning your trip! I was just browsing disneyvacationclub.com for accommodations next Fall. I think my favorite part of the journey is planning!

You didn’t mention which Resort you are staying at, so I’m going to give you a few tips on how to find the rooms that you prefer. The first stop is disneyworld.disney.go.com/resorts and then click on the Resort you are staying at (for example, the brand new Disney’s Riviera Resort). On the Overview page, in the bottom right, you will see an interactive map. You can zoom in and look at where the Bus Stop is (zoom in, and you will see a bus icon), and which side of the Resort it is on (north, south, east, west). That way, when you book your room, you can call Hotel Reservations and request a room in the northeast wing.

Another option, when you check-in online or on the My Disney Experience app, a dropdown menu will pop up where you can make room requests. Depending on the Resort, the options include near transportation, near the lobby, near the elevator, upper floor, etc. When we stay at our home Resort, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas, I usually request near an elevator and upper level. This often puts us close to transportation and gives us a fantastic view of the animals that also call the Resort home.

Lynn, if you have any other questions or want more specifics once you choose your Resort, please don’t hesitate to come back. We’re all EARs!
