We have 2 rooms reserved for a party of 4, but will be doing everything together-dining, parks etc. But, when I look at the Disney Experience app, it only shows check-in for 1 room, can I check in both parties on my MDE or do they need the app to check-in

Hiya, Lisa! I'm so glad you found the trail of pixie dust that Tinker Bell left for you and followed it back here to planDisney!

Minnie and Daisy, Dory and Nemo, Woody and Buzz - if there's one thing I know, it's that friendship makes every experience even more magical! Lisa, the only thing better than visiting Walt Disney World Resort is visiting with people you care about. Here's a little secret: magic multiplies when it's shared and your trip is sure to be an extra special one!

I'm so glad to hear that your full travel party will be spending so much time together, from enjoying great dining to touring the parks. Be sure to add all members of your travel party to your Family & Friends List to make planning as easy as bibbidi-bobbidi-boo! Once you're connected, you'll be able to share plans easily through the My Disney Experience app. If you haven't already, I'd recommend that you download and explore this app prior to your trip! This is a great way to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and even mobile order food. As someone who often gets a rumbly in her tumbly, this is my favorite way of knowing that my meals and snacks will be ready right when I need them!

Lisa, I believe the Guests in your travel party will have the best experience after they make their own My Disney Experience accounts. If you made their accounts for them for their reservations, you'll be able to see the words "Plans managed by me" next to their names in your Family & Friends List. If this is the case, you can give these Guests an opportunity to co-manage their accounts by clicking "Update." From here, click "Share Planning" and enter the Guest's email address. Once you do this, the Guest can accept the request through their email and they will be able to co-manage their reservations, including checking in for their resort through My Disney Experience.

If you have any issues with the above steps, I would suggest reaching out to one of the wonderful Cast Members. A little like real-life fairy godparents, they will be able to stretch their magic wands a bit farther and will be able to help you with your reservations. Be sure to have your Guests' names, emails, and confirmation number handy! Pro tip: if you decide to call a Cast Member, I would recommend calling right when phone lines open at 7:00 AM EST since their kind of magic can sometimes be in high demand.

Before your trip, be sure that you've made your theme park reservations through the Disney Park Pass system! This is the best way to make sure you've reserved the parks you wish to visit on each day of your trip. And if you haven't already, I'd recommend making advance dining reservations prior to your magical vacation!

Lisa, I cannot wait for you to enjoy and experience The Most Magical Place on Earth! If you have any other questions, please visit us again. After all, you've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon!
