    Do the rooms at Port Orleans Riverside have microwaves? Please and thank you!

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Laura! Tick-tock! It looks like your next vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort is just a few weeks away! Hooray!

    Disney’s Port Orleans Resort- Riverside is a great place to stay! My family and I were just there last weekend and we loved the feel of the resort. The gardens are beautiful, and the magnolias were in full bloom!

    While you won’t find a microwave in your room, you will find a mini-refrigerator. In fact, you will find a mini-refrigerator in rooms at all 25 Walt Disney World Resort hotels. It’s big enough to hold a half-gallon of milk and some drinks. My girls had cereal and milk for breakfast so that was easy enough to put together in our room. 

    There are microwaves available for guest use at the Riverside Mill Food Court. You can also try to request one for your room before your stay by calling your resort at (407) 934-6000. If they are available, Cast Members will be happy to send one to your room.
