When were the rooms at Pop Century last updated?

Hi there, Brenda! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by and allowing us to help you with your Walt Disney World Resort question!

Disney’s Pop Century Resort is a fun way to experience Disney style through the ages! This Disney Resort hotel features themes from some of the favorite fads from the 1950s all the way through the 1990s. Personally, my favorite area would have to be the 1990s section but I may be a bit partial since I am a child of the 1990s myself!

The rooms at Disney’s Pop Century Resort were recently refurbished over the last couple of years. All rooms at this Disney Resort hotel were renovated by the Summer of 2018 so now each and every room features the gorgeous new designs! The addition of Cuisinart Coffee Makers, outlets that feature USB ports, and dual shower heads make this Value Resort feel so much more upscale! Not to mention, the overall theming in Guest rooms now leans towards a stylish, modern art-style. You’re sure to love the recently re-imagined look!

If you’re visiting in Fall of 2019, you may also have the opportunity to experience the all-new Disney Skyliner! This aerial-form of transportation will take Guests from select Disney Resort hotels to both the International Gateway at Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios! So be prepared to take-in some all new sights while traveling in style!

Hopefully, this information will help you and your family have an absolutely magical time!
