Hi Joan!
It is wonderful to hear from you! I think you have made a great stateroom selection for your upcoming cruise. The Deluxe Oceanview Staterooms are quite spacious and with two small children you will find them to have plenty of space and storage. I have stayed on Deck Two before and didn't find it a problem at all. The elevator and stairs were close by to my room so I was able to access them very easily. If you are worried about the stateroom location then you may want to call AAA to see how much an upgrade would cost, but costs vary so it is hard to say whether or not it is worth it. When my family cruises, we don't spend a lot of time in our room so we are very flexible with our stateroom category and deck location.
