Have all of the rooms in Jambo House been remodeled?

Hello there, Barb! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for taking the time to reach back out and allowing us to help you plan another vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a wild good time for the whole family! Guests have the opportunity to view all sorts of exotic animals and birds right from the comfort of their Disney Resort hotel! In addition, the dining locations found here are incredibly delicious. From elegant offerings such as Jiko - The Cooking Place to family-friendly feasts at Boma - Flavors of Africa, you can't go wrong with any of the delectable options available!

Over the last few months, the Guest Rooms at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge have undergone a modern re-imagining! During my family's stay in July of this year, we were able to stay in one of the refurbished rooms and enjoyed every moment of our stay. I personally loved all of the small hints of decoration themed after The Lion King!

After a bit of research, I was able to find that not all of the Guest Rooms have received their updated makeovers. However, if you are interested in staying in one of the refurbished rooms, I would suggest you contact the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone line and ask that they indicate your specific request on your reservation. Although requests are never guaranteed, Cast Members do try their best to make your wishes come true!

Have fun continuing to plan for your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!
